Nadeje Crepe Cake @ Dataran Pahlawan, Malacca

Henry Tan | 9:40 PM |
I'm sure all of you would heard about this before.
Yup, it is none other than the famous Nadeje Crepe Cake.
Well, I went on Sunday afternoon.
Guess what....

SUPER LONG QUEUE!

Queue until outside under the hot sun! >.<

I have to say that....
Long queue most probably cause by the slow service.
They are slow in taking orders, whereby only one person taking order.

So this is the Mocha Crepe Cake if I didn't remember wrongly.

And the original one.

Personally, I think this is overrated.

Special? Yes. Worth for a try? Maybe.
Go again? Probably No.

Taste: 8/10 (A lot of layers and it is soft.)
Price: 6/10 (RM9 per slice at least!)
Environment: 7/10 (Normal)
Service: 6/10 (Super slow and still can joke around while customers waiting)

  2. i saw the super long crowd when i visited last year. luckily a pal offered to queue while i sat at the restaurant opposite to eat. strangely though...i felt it was kinda overrated. the plain one was ok. the chocolate was nothing to rave about and the rum and raisin...pathetic:-(

  4. Those layers look a bit untidy - not neatly arranged like the ones here. Somebody told me the layers of crepe there, thinner...but tastewise, our Sibu ones are just as nice.

We have vanilla - RM6.60...and double chocolate, RM8.80 - cheaper than Malacca or KL. Tried the mocha one from Arthur's Crepes at Tokyo Street, Pavilion in KL - tasted like cough medicine. Ewekkk!!! RM10.50 some more. Not nice at all!!!
