I'm sure you have heard about the famous Gartien Pineapple Cake, we have wrote about their pineapple cake several times, but do you know they have came out with a new flavour? It is surely a good news to me! As this flavour is my all time favourite, I guess lots of people couldn't resist it too.

The new packaging for this new product is packed in a lovely box with 6 pieces of pineapple cakes in individual package, it looks so simple and elegant.
The rectangular prism shape is still remain the same, but can you see the greenish colour of this Gartien Pineapple Tart? That's Uji Matcha 宇治抹茶 !
Oh, you might thought that the filling will be Uji Matcha too, but don't forget Gartien is famous for their pineapple, and that's why they are still going to keep its filling with their signature thin strips of pineapple puree. Unlike the ordinary pineapple cake, Gartien is brilliantly incorporated imported high quality Uji Matcha powder at the pastry skin of the pineapple cake.
