Teddyville Museum @ Batu Feringghi, Penang

Henry Tan | 11:15 AM | |
Teddyville Museum, Malaysia's first and largest collection of Teddy Bears, is now opened in Batu Feringghi, Penang! As a big fan of Teddy Bear, baby and I went for a visit during the weekend. FYI, Teddyville Museum only open on the weekends, starting from 9am to 6pm.

At the point of visiting, DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Penang, which Teddyville Museum is located, is not open yet. So don't be surprised that you have to park at the road side and walk through some construction area.

The entrance fee for adult is RM36 (normal) / RM27 (with MyKad) and children for RM25 (normal) / RM15 (with MyKad). Meanwhile student with student card is RM29 (normal) / RM22 (with MyKad) and kids below 3 years old will be FREE.

If only there is a real bear catcher machine, then I supposed there will be a big crowds!

The original of Winnie the Pooh and his piglet, which is very much difference right!

The laughing Roosevelt Bear that can literally laugh when you squeeze his stomach.

We like this quote the most.
"When all else fails, hug your teddy!"

Like all of our teddy bears, they always wait us on the bed!

After the section on the history of Teddy Bears and display of different type of Teddy Bears collection, here comes the miniature bears that represent the many attractions that Penang has to offer!

Teddy Bears depicted Dato' Lee Chong Wei and Datuk Nicol David.

To be honest, we were quite shocked at first with the entrance fee which may costs RM36 a person, but after the tour, it is worth the money as the museum is much bigger than we thought. We like the concept of this Teddyville Museum, not only that we learned the history of teddy bears, we also think it's a good place for people to learn the culture of Penang in a very cute and interesting way. So if you are a big fan of teddy bear, you would not want to miss this!
