Tiger STREATS Party @ Hin Bus Depot, Penang

Henry Tan | 6:18 PM | | |
Thanks to Tiger's invitation, baby and I spent a wonderful night at Tiger STREATS, a unique street food experience from Tiger Beer, which take its culinary delights on the road this March in both Penang & Johor. Penangites got the chance to sample numerous Malaysian creative street food mashups, all washed down with ice cold Tiger brews.

Tiger STREATS was being held at Hin Bus Depot, Penang, which is a popular place that is suitable for party. As usual, we were being welcomed by the pretty Tiger ambassadors that were posing at the entrance. Long legs with short skirts, that's definitely a good start for a great party night. 😁

The Tiger STREATS party started at 5pm until 11pm while admission is open to non-Muslims over the age of 18. Our tickets came together with a couple of FREE Tiger beer vouchers and food vouchers. These vouchers were being sold on the spot at the event itself too.

A total of 14 one-of-a-kind creative street food, from Curry Flavor Waffles, Cempedak Ice Cream to Kimchi Goreng, the options were more than enough to tantalize anyone's taste buds. We had some ribs, skewers, as well as the noodles. But nothing better than pairing those food with Tiger beers.

During the Tiger STREATS party night, we get to choose the original Tiger Beer, Tiger Radler and Tiger White. Of course, we tried all of them, and baby and I preferred Tiger Radler the most! Tiger Radler is actually Tiger Beer with extra freshness from the lemon juice and lower alcohol percentage. So if you are not to fond of alcohol, Tiger Radler would be a good choice!

On top of those delicious dishes to sample, Tiger STREATS also prepared some retro-inspired games, experiential activity as well as live band performance from great local artistes. We were having fun playing the Tikam game in order to exchange for small gifts. Barry and I also had some playful moment with the Ping Pong game except that we were using kitchen utensils as bat!

Tiger STREATS party received great response from the crowds, same like us, many enjoyed themselves at the party. We certainly look forward for this event to be held annually at different places all over Malaysia.

Till then. ;)
Happy partying!
