Last weekend baby brought her parents for dinner at the newly opened Muse Dining Bar, which located at Elite Avenue. I think this is the only restaurant we wrote about besides Beyond Veggie back in 2014. It was quite near to my workplace in D'Piazza but I never really explore around. Baby bought 2 of their cash voucher RM50 for RM35 in Groupon. (Click here to buy)
That's 30% Discount! Worth right?
Muse Dining Bar - Pork Chop (RM23.90) |
As per recommended by the friendly waitress, we ordered this deep fried pork chop with a bowl of salad and chef's sauce. The portion was quite big and it is worthy if you are a big eater. However, the sauce given are a bit too little for me as the pork chop can be quite dry. Nevertheless, they still provide me extra sauce for free!
Muse Dining Bar - Roasted Pork Belly and Chorizo Aglio Olio Spaghetti (RM24.90) |
My first impression - Shio Bak Spaghetti! Baby is a big fan of roasted pork belly, so we thought to give this Shio Bak Spaghetti a try. Surprisingly, it tastes heavenly! Roasted pork belly matched really well with spaghetti, chorizo (pork sausage) and mushroom! Usually we used a lot of olive oil in spaghetti to make it smooth and moist, but replacing with roasted pork belly? That's absolutely brilliant! Next time I'm gonna try it myself! So yes, I would say this is a Recommended Dish!
Muse Dining Bar - Prawn Pesto Spaghetti (RM24.90) |
Carbonara or even aglio olio are too mainstream, so whenever there's pesto spaghetti we would definitely order it. The Prawn Pesto Spaghetti in Muse Dining Bar is pretty appetizing as it is garnished with almond flakes and fresh grated cheese. The flavorful pesto sauce was enough to moist the spaghetti as I do not like if is too dry. Another Recommended Dish!
Muse Dining Bar - MUSE Pigs Wear Blankie (RM15.90) |
We ordered this under the Bar Snacks menu. As one would expect, it is a finger food with roughly 5pcs of it. The name itself is quite interesting, but literally it explains what it is, which is smoked pork sausage wrapped with bacon! Nothing could ever goes wrong with bacon! Definitely good to go with a pint of beer or stout! But be careful of the skewer as it is quite short, so you might want to be extra careful for the elderly and children.
Muse Dining Bar - Chicken Pie (RM20.90) |
The last one we had was creamy herbal chicken pie served with side of salads and mashed potato. Personally, it is a hearty meal with full of ingredients inside such as egg, chicken, mushroom and so on. I am not too fond of chicken pie so it doesn't really impress me. But I reckon it is good to order during a rainy day!
Muse Dining Bar - Located right beside the escalator. |
Nowadays we rarely write food review for free or without invitation, but this is an exception as I think they are worth a mention, especially given that their waitress whom was exceptionally friendly. (Probably she's one of the shareholders! HAHA)
Go give it a try!
