Thanks to the invitation from Sue, bae and I celebrated the Prosperous 2020 with Pacific West at The Prestige Hotel Penang. In collaboration with The Prestige Hotel, Pacific West showcased all their award winning products through a creatively-crafted menu.
The event started with the introduction of Pacific West management, award winning products, latest products then followed by Lou Sang to celebrate Chinese New Year. After that we got to enjoy all the food in a buffet style.
The 3 new products, namely, Nori Himalayan Salt Squid Spiral, Panko Coated Squid Strips and Sweet Chili Fish Cocktails. I bet you can hardly tell from the photos below given how creative they carefully curated!
After the buffet, we had game session where each group are required to decorate their cupcakes! Surprisingly we won with our brilliant creation! πππ But still thanks to Pacific West, we enjoyed ourselves and we even got to walk away some prizes as well as a goodie bag to test out their products!
Okay fast forward after 2 months, I finally got the time to try out the product sample given to us. So far I just tried the Oven Baked Fish. We always like Pacific West Products because of the "Cook from Frozen", since everyone of us are busy and we might forget to take out from fridge to defrost.
The simple and clear instructions were written at the back of the box as well. Both oven or air fryer are acceptable! So we chose to use air fryer which is super duper convenient! We followed the temperature and time as per instructed and the outcome was amazing like almost similar to the illustration photo of the box! πππ
