Thanks to Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB), I
was invited to the Guinness Amplify Live Tour.
This is the fifth gig of the campaign
that was held in SOHO Gastro Pub, Penang.
As Precint 10 is the top destination for
party goer, the live tour was quickly filled with crowds.
Eye-catching with the big globe light
The night was enjoyable with the world’s
No 1 stout Guinness at special promotion.
Two choices were given, namely Guinness Draught
and Guinness Foreign Extra Stout (Bottle).
As you know, Guinness stout is a dry
Irish stout or dark beer with the black roasted-like color.
For the draught Guinness Stout, it should
have a thick, creamy head over the top of the glass.
Believe it or not, it requires special
skills to make that!
Check out my previous experience for my
first draught of Guinness stout! =D
Okay, back to the topic.
So the night started with the host,
Andrew Netto.
He’s one of the famous stand-up comedians
that I met in Hard Rock last time.
Guinness Amplify in Penang was featured
by the local musical heroes.
The Endleaves were the first to impress
the crowds with their high energy music.
Their incredible music surely rocks the
night of the crowds.
Follow up
next was the singer songwriter, Froya!
This pretty
lady has shown all her talents especially with her own single, “Uncomprehended
Child”.
The night
slowly builds up when she covers the popular “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster the
People.
The crowds just
grooving on the music while savor the wonder of Guinness stout.
Last but not
least, the band performance by Kyoto Protocol wrote a perfect full stop to the
event.
Besides
performing their new single “Catch These Men”, Kyoto Protocol covers “Use Somebody”
by Kings of Leon too.
But it was
the cover of “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi that brought the night to the climax.
The crowds
follow along the band and sing their lungs out.
Overall, it
was an amazing night that leaves the crowds craving for more!
They are
looking forward for the finale coming soon on 18th October 2014.
And the
finale will be featuring Magic! alongside with OJ Law and Dash.
For those who missed out the event, fret
not, here’s the detail of finale:
