Since my last visit to Kizuna Japanese Restaurant in 2013, the menu has changed into a thicker one, which means more and more choices to choose! Food ranging from Sashimi to Menrui and even to Donburi while the price ranging from low to high to cater all levels of people. So if you are scared of the high price items in my old post, fret not, Kizuna offers affordable price range of food as well!

As usual, I love their environment very much! The lighting, decorations and background music set your mood right the minute you step into the restaurant! Not forgetting to mention the friendly waitress that always ready to serve you. This is the kind of restaurant that you would feel relax and just want to laze around.

Don't be surprised if you could not find this in the menu! The one in the menu is just the normal Unagi Roll at the price of RM22.90 for 8 pieces. They added cheese for us to try out as this Unagi Cheese Roll will only be out in the menu in July 2015! If you are a regular customer of Kizuna, you would know that they are serious in putting together an impressive plate decoration!

Unagi is always my favorite ever since I been to Japan back in 2010. Unfortunately, Unagi is not cheap and I certainly can't eat it frequently. So, when I spend to eat, it'd better be good! The one in Kizuna may looks just like the typical Unagi roll, but the fillings inside will surprise you. Besides Kani (crab meat), cucumber and Tamago (omelette), they even put shiitake (mushroom)! Darling loves it very much especially with her favorite cheese added altogether!

One of the signature ramen that we tried was Pork Mayo Ramen with the price of RM19.90 à la carte. Kizuna's Pork Mayo Ramen was really tasty as the pork was well marinated by using the Japanese Shouga (ginger) sauce. Even Darling that dislike pork, loves it too as it doesn't has the heavy pork smell. For me, I like the soup as it was cooked with the pork strips that were being stir fried first to seal the freshness and juiciness.

Kizuna's Tobanjan Nibuta Ramen is another one out of eleven signature ramens with the price of RM20.90 à la carte. Tobanjan means 豆瓣酱 or bean sauce, which usually spicy to give a "kick" to the ramen. Kizuna focuses on the quality of the food, so much that even the Ajitsuke Tamago (味付け玉子), simply called as soft boiled egg, was done to the perfection with the super runny egg yolk! I bet this would be perfect during a cold rainy day where a hot spicy Tobanjan Nibuta Ramen will makes you warm from the stomach!

Customer experience is one of the main thing in this F&B line and I am impressed by the extend on how the owner cares for it. For example, finding a car park can be frustrated especially for impatient people like me, but fortunately, the owner has discussed with the management and customers are allowed to double parked as long as a display card is placed on the dashboard. So remember to get yours for free if you are going again soon!
