Looking for a place to eat around Bukit Bintang? Then I am sure you would have known all about Jalan Alor. Bae and I visited at night two years ago for the Wong Ah Wah Famous Chicken Wing, so this round we went in the morning at Jalan Alor for the well known "Sister Drunken Chicken Noodle" and "Curry Noodle". πππ
Sister Drunken Chicken Noodle (ε§ε¦ΉιΈ‘ι

Curry Noodle (εε±ι’)
The stall located inside Beh Brothers Restaurant which is one of the shop in the middle of the shop houses along Jalan Alor. Compare to the first shop at the beginning of Jalan Alor which was very crowded, Beh Brothers Restaurant was a bit more further down the road and hence, less crowded. Thankfully we knew what we were looking for, otherwise we could have been enticed to the first one.
There are not many tables in Beh Brothers Restaurant, in fact some tourists left after failing to get a seat. So you may want to go early to avoid disappointment. Inside Beh Brothers Restaurant, there are not many stalls because Sister Drunken Chicken Noodle stall sells most of the chinese breakfast that you can think of - curry noodle, fishball noodle, pork noodle, porridge up to 18 types! π²
Given such a long list of selection, I bet most of you would have the so called "paradox of choice", which essentially means that while we consider variety as a good thing, at the same time, it makes our decisions more challenging. π΅π No worry, follow my selection - starting with Curry Noodle!
We waited for like 20 minutes, and to be honest, I was not convinced at all compare to those Penang Curry Mee. Undeniably, the stall added many ingredients, such as chopped chicken breast, cockles, long beans, dried tofu as well as my favorite vege - eggplant! I would say that the Curry Noodle is more like those Curry Chicken added with noodle. Given the location and the selling price at RM9 per bowl, I could accept but probably not going back for the second time. πππ
Meanwhile, for their famous Sister Drunken Chicken Noodle, we waited for 30 minutes. We witnessed some of the customers kept on asking them if it was done. Well, they said the best things in life are worth waiting for, I have to say the noodle is good but I do think they can actually cut down the time. Perhaps the Sisters should hire me to help them to do Lean, streamlining their process and cutting down the time taken to prepare! πππ
Sister Drunken Chicken Noodle was full of the yellow wine aroma, smooth-tendering chicken, crunchy texture of wood ear fungus (ι»ζ¨θ³), as well as the fragrance of fried egg. Certainly a bowl of heart warming noodle soup to kick start your day! As expected, it was sold at RM18 per bowl given the location as well as the generous amount of yellow wine used.
