What to do in Perth? If you are feeling adventurous but not too tiring, Bells Rapids at Swan River could be the one for you! Bells Rapids is famous for the spectacular view of Swan River on the walk bridge spanning over the white water rapids. It's a perfect spot for picnic or even just a bush walk!
On our Day 6 of Perth Trip, we went to Bells Rapids. Maybe it was on Wednesday, so not too many people there. It took us an hour drive from Perth to arrive at Bells Rapids. We chose the easiest 2.5km loop walk at Bells Rapids with its majestic boulders and rushing waters.
The weather was okay but the wind could be very chilled, which explains the jacket we had. For Malaysian like us, it was quite an unique experience where we did not even sweat even though we were exhausted.
The loop walk trail starts after crossing the wooden bridge. The trail was okay without any obstacles as it was not too difficult for beginner like us. Along the way, we enjoyed the scenic views of Swan River, the bushes as well as the floral and fauna.
Since it was raining a day before, part of the trail was soaking wet. The funny part was that bae were too afraid of those caterpillars that came crawling out all over the floor. We saw quite a number of Australian that went there for jogging and even brought along their dogs for the walk. So nice!
Bells Rapids may not be the Must-Go places, but if you are same like us feeling guilty after many days of feasting, then Bells Rapids is the most suitable to go for some exercise!
