For the Christmas Buffet this year at Lexis Suites Penang, Chef Johnno, the executive chef and his team have crafted a mouth watering spread starting from cold delicacies, cheese corner, soup, carving, seafood on ice, pasta, western delight, hot dishes to desserts. 

Bae and I went for their preview to get a sneak peak on their buffet spread. It has been a while since our last visit to Lexis Suites Penang, nothing change though, still looks elegant as before. It was a rainy night, so we had to park our car at the multilevel car park which is free of charge. 👍

For Christmas Buffet, Lexis Suites Penang serves one of the Christmas must have dish - the traditional authentic Roasted Turkey. Chefs will carve and serve the turkey alongside with Yorkshire Pudding, Roasted Baby Potato, Chestnut and Apple Stuffing, serve with Cranberry Giblet Sauce. I am not a big fan of turkey given the dry bland texture, but surprisingly I like their stuffing! 😋

Same like any other buffet, bae and I always take a little of each to try it out. There are many options for the cold delicacies, such as Christmas Tree Salad, Smoked Salmon Platter, Assorted Cold Cuts, Variety of Garden Leaf, Assorted Condiment, Assorted Cheese with Nuts and many more. 

One thing I have to compliment is the effort of the chefs in their food presentation. The cold delicacies were all beautifully decorated with the Christmas elements. Just by looking at all the food, you can feel the joyous festive celebration. 🎄🎅🤶

Meanwhile for the main dishes or the hot delicacies, Lexis Suites Penang offers Poached Sea Bass, Teriyaki Beef, Wok Fried Cabbage, Deep Fry Cheese Ball, Baked Creamy Seafood Stew, Homemade Chicken Roulade, Grilled Lamb Chop, Grilled Spicy Sausage and many more! 

All the dishes were pretty decent, bae and I particularly love their Fragrant Prawns with Nutmeg Mayo Sauce and Oven Baked Fragrant Pumpkin with Fresh Prawn Meat. The Pan Fried Smoked Duck Breast was quite impressive too with the sweet-sour orange juice reduction. 

After a big feast, it is important to end on a sweet note with the dessert such as Chocolate Truffle Cake, Floating Island with Almonds and Caramel, Lexis Style Bread Butter Pudding, Chocolate Fountain, Honey Dew Sago, Christmas Cookies, Christmas Stollen, Yule Log and many more! 

Same like the other dishes, the dessert at Lexis Suites Penang were very well decorated, especially the Floating Island which was done with roasted marshmallow. The dessert were all above par, so if you have a sweet tooth, I am sure the Christmas Buffet here would not disappoint you. 👌👌👌
