ZALORA Pop-up Store is now in Gurney Plaza, Penang!

I am very sure that you know what's ZALORA, as you could find it everywhere! Fortunately for Penang, this is the first click-and-mortar store for ZALORA Malaysia. Click-and-mortar a.k.a clicks-and-bricks actually means both online and offline operations. This business model has proved to be so important in this era of online shopping.

The ZALORA’s pop-up store utilizing earth colours and wood finishing with a combination of high-tech features, they allocated women’s department on the ground floor and the men’s on the first floor.

We saw an interesting quote on the wall of ZALORA's offline store. Meaning if you shopped with ZALORA, you don't have to carry the shopping bag, as they offer delivering service which the goods you purchased will be delivered to your doorsteps.

The PCs and scanners located in the ZALORA’s pop-up store given the customers to browse and purchase goods available on the official ZALORA website. Also, the store is well-equipped with tablets and smartphones, so that customers are able to browse through the ZALORA app while walking around the store.

Although light refreshments were served but everyone was so excited and more interested in the ZALORA’s pop-up store gadgets and goods, everyone was so busy choosing their clothes while waiting for the event.

The event was about to start! Emcee was welcoming the guests and roughly went through the event agenda with us.

Followed by the speech given by the Head of Offline Marketing and Communications of ZALORA Malaysia, Anna Nishaburi.

The launch event started with a virtual process of “ZALORA order” where ZALORA team showing us the live chat with ZALORA’s handsome warehouse person and the goods to deliver to the store later on. It is definitely an eye-catching way of delivering the message of  the efficiency and speed of ZALORA.

The ZALORA’s pop-up store is open to walk-in customers everyday, from 10am to 10pm at the Ground Floor and First Floor of Gurney Plaza Penang. You are now having the chance to touch, feel and try on the goods which you wanted to purchase online!
