Swez Brasserie located in Eastin Hotel Penang will be offering full spread of buffet dinner starting from Cold Delicacies, Carving, Hot Delicacies to Desserts. One of the Christmas-Must-Have - Chef signature Roasted Turkey with Roasted Apple Stuffing served with giblet or cranberry sauce are available too!

As usual, baby and I tried a little bit of everything. Among all the 8 hot delicacies available, we love Salmon Fish Head Curry with Brinjal and Lady's Fingers the most. Not many places would provides fish curry using salmon since it's expensive, so that's very generous for Eastin Hotel Penang.

Besides the hot delicacies, we had the cold delicacies too. Seafood on Ice, Seafood Terrine, Tomato Mimosa, Chicken Galantine, German Potato Salad, Red Snapper Medallion, Waldorf and Orange Salad and many more.

As a typical Asian, in order to make it worth the money you pay, Oysters and Prawns must be in the plate! #ifyouknowwhatimean 😂😂😂 Nevertheless, we were satisfied with the cold delicacies, particularly impressed with the Chicken Galantines and Red Snapper Medallion. These deboning and stuffing methods are quite rare to find in buffet dinner!

We had the Roasted Turkey and Beef Wellington too. Although Roasted Turkey is a must for Christmas but I have all my attention on the Beef Wellington as this is another rare one in a buffet dinner. As you can see from the photo above, the Beef Wellington we had was done medium well with slightly pink center, exactly the way we love!

For desserts, Eastin Hotel Penang prepares quite a number of well decorated desserts such as Floating Island with Almond and Caramel, Chocolate Truffle Cake, Christmas Log, Classic Cheese Cake and even Creme Brulee! We were amazed by the Tiramisu which was contained in an edible chocolate cup! 😋😋😋

Overall, Eastin Hotel Penang offers a great deal for big family to enjoy the Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner since there are 50% discount for children aged 6-11 years old and cheaper rate of RM90 nett for senior citizen. Most importantly, you can walkover to Queensbay Mall after the big feast.
