Last weekend, Bae and I got to indulged in a luxurious Saturday brunch at a decent restaurant, Vino Vino Bistro, which located at Bay Avenue, Penang. Champagne brunch  that offers mouthwatering seafood like grilled mud crab and fresh prawns, Japanese brunch staples and of course, free flow of champagne. Definitely a perfect way to enjoy the weekend with the loved ones!

Vino Vino Bistro located inside Bay Avenue where you can easily spot it on the right side after the ticket entrance. There is ample of parking space around Vino Vino Bistro since most of the office will be closed on weekend in Bay Avenue.  

For the Free Flow Champagne Saturday Brunch, Vino Vino Bistro will be offering the French champagne collection of One Fo(u)r by Nicolas Feuillatte, which consists of both One Fo(u)r (1/4) Brut, as well as the One Fo(u)r ROSÉ. Unlike the typical big tall champagne bottle, One Fo(u)r comes in a cute 200ml small bottle! It costs about RM80 per bottle according to the boss.

One Fo(u)r by Nicolas Feuillatte is the Champagne to enjoy any place, anywhere. The most Bohemian of all Champagnes, One Fo(u)r is totally unique, with a handy wrist strap attached to each bottle, an exclusive design by Nicolas Feuillatte to add a practical, stylish touch and carry it with ease wherever you may go.

The 12% alcohol percentage of Nicolas Feuillatte One Fo(u)r is a blend of 40% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. This is a deliciously floral, light-bodied, wonderfully subtle yet effervescent Champagne that would brighten your day! 

While enjoying the free flow of champagne, the Japanese brunch staples are up for grab with unlimited refill. The free flow brunch staples include Fried Garlic Rice, Fresh Salad with Japanese dressing, Potato Salad, Fruits as well as the Miso Soup! The executive chef is an experienced Japanese chef, so the food are all above par, especially the fried garlic rice, which sounds simple but not easy to make a perfect one! 

Besides the free flow of Japanese brunch staples, Vino Vino Bistro also provides huge mud crab, succulent fresh prawns as well as deep fried small prawns as food pairing to the Nicolas Feuillatte One Fo(u)r champagne. Do note that these three food pairing are not free flow. Nevertheless, it is more than sufficient to kick-start your weekend on a high note.

Overall, Bae and I enjoyed the lovely Saturday brunch very much. The mud crabs and prawns are both huge in size and fresh enough for us to taste the sweetness, kudos to the chef for grilling it to perfection without losing the juice. The deep fried small prawns definitely a good tidbits to pair with the champagne! 

Personally, I love the Nicolas Feuillatte One Fo(u)r Rose simply for the pale pink appearance and a little sweetness in it. So if you are same like me, a big fan of champagne and good food, Vino Vino Bistro is the place you should pay a visit to!
