Similar to last year Ramadhan Buffet Dinner, Vistana Hotel Penang offers the same traditional spread for the breaking of the daily fast. Given the prices on the rise, Vistana Hotel Penang still managed to keep the price low at RM70 while guests can enjoy the 101 recipes inspired by Tok Wan. 👍

Needless to say one of the main highlight of the Buka Puasa Buffet 2018 will be the Kambing Panggang and Satay at the live station with chefs slicing the roasted lamb and barbequeing the meat skewers on the spot. It is not surprising if you find yourself in a long queue! 😋😋😋

Tok Wan 101 promises an assortment of fresh tangy salads, a healthy selection of ulam-ulaman, various bubur at the Sweet Porridge Station, fresh fruits, keropok and many more. My favorite appetizer to kick start the feast is the all-time favorite Sup Kambing. The lamb soup was rich of flavor and soft enough to melt in the mouth. 😋😋😋

Meanwhile, for the main course, Vistana Hotel Penang offers a wide spread which include Ayam Panggang Madu, Sambal Tempe Ikan Bilis, Danging Gulai Pantai Timur, Patin Tempoyak, Ayam Masak Merah, Daging Rendang and many more. 

Personally, I got my eyes on the Gulai Lemak Talang Masin, Ikan Bakar Air Asam and Gulai Daging. Gulai Lemak Talang Masin was very appetizing with the salted fish, while the roasted fish was well marinated and Gulai Daging just kept me going for more!

Other food stations are available too such as Warung Yong Tau Foo, Nasi Kerabu Specialty, Warung Asam Laksa, Warung Nasi Ayam, Warung Sup, Warung Murtabak Ayam and others. Trust me, you will have a hard time to decide what to start with, but for sure there is something that you will like! 

For drinks wise, Nescafe Tarik and Teh Tarik are both available. If you fancy for cold drinks, various juices are available too. To end the big feast, Vistana Hotel Penang also prepares a great variety of desserts, ranging from Ice Kacang to Malay traditional kuih-muih.  

Overall, I think given that the strategic location where Vistana Hotel Penang is located near to the factory area and the affordable price at RM70 nett, it would be a great choice for buka puasa together with the colleagues, friends and family.
