This year the Executive Chef from Lexis Suites Penang, Chef Johnno Fong and his culinary team will be preparing a delightful spread of Ramadhan Buffet Dinner which features over 100 dishes from both the local and international cuisines. 

Starting with the main dishes, get ready to be spoilt for choice at Lexis Suites Penang. Signature main dishes include gulai ayam lemak, Lexis style daging rendang, udang rempah cili jagung, ikan tenggiri assam pedas, ketam cili/tomato, paru-paru kicap hitam manis, nasi tomato and many more, all specially crafted for diners to indulge on.

Besides of the main dishes, this year the Arabian Chef from Lexis Suites Penang also added in the Arabic flavors from Middle East! Arabic delights such as sharwarma wrapped with bread, hummus, tabbouleh, mutabbal, lamb kabsa, chicken mandi among others.

To sooth down the throat, diners can head to the soup corner where they can slurp down a piping hot bowl of ‘Gearbox’ Soup. Then look out for succulent treats like satay, nasi impit as well as the classical kambing golek sprinkled with assorted herbs, all prepared with the chef’s homemade spices and sauces that produce distinct unique tastes.

Appetizers like ulaman dan herba kampung, aneka kerabu, rojak mambo, pasembur or must-have Malay bites like serunding, pulut, ketupat and lemang are all available too. There are also assorted kampung pickles, Japanese maki, sashimi, edamame and Indian chicken tandoori, capati with dhall curry to get the variety flavors of taste buds going.

Of course, diners can also enjoy street snacks like goreng pisang, karipap, cekodok pisang, keropok lekor, papadam and good old children snacks such as twisties, mamee and tam-tam. To end the big feast on a high note with desserts, indulge in local sweets such as biskut almond London, biskut badam coklat, biskut dam aji, ondeh-ondeh, kuih lapis, kuih talam and carrot cake with cheese frosting. There are also assorted fresh cut local fruits, chocolate fountain, ice kacang and cendol durian.
