Maybe you have seen a lot of statues of Buddha,

"But what about RECLINING Buddha?"

New to you huh?
Perhaps you could consider to pay a visit here. =D
This is a Thai Buddhist temple which is famous for the reclining Buddha.
The reclining Buddha is third largest which with the length of 33m.

According to the source i read,
this reclining position symbolized enlightenment or achieving Nirvana.

Reading the paper the get. =D

A lot of Buddhas which from different countries.

Some paintings that tell the story of some Thai deities.

from head to toe, 33 meter long.

At the entrance.

The temple was built in 1845.
The land was given by Queen Victoria to 4 women trustees as a gesture of goodwill to boost the relationship with Thailand.

The weather was very hot that I didn't manage to take a lot of photos.
But it won't be hard to find as you could see the pagoda from far away.

"So how can you not visit Penang? =p"
