14th February, Valentine's Day is a day people show the feeling of love; it is a perfect day to encourage love-ignition. A romantic dinner for 2 is a must to bring up the spark on that special day with that special person. Have you made up your mind where to celebrate on this coming Valentine's Day? You could consider to have your romantic dinner here at Eastin Hotel Penang, as it is located near the biggest shopping center in Penang, Queensbay Mall where you could do your last minute shopping for the Valentine's gift or plan a movie there. Furthermore, this area will be relatively less jammed on that day :D

Alright, let me show you the Eastin Hotel's Valentine’s Day 5-course set dinner for 2 persons at Swez Brasserie. First and foremost, appetizer! Yes, my sequence is correct, they have panna cotta as their appetizer! The panna cotta itself has a light sweet flavour with silky texture, enriched with the sourish fruit salads, it really made an appealing appetizer!

The soup was served after the appetizer, I like the creamy and strong aroma of the soup, it tasted like the common mushroom soup but it is the upgrade version :D

As for the main course, you get to choose between fish or lamb. I personally like the Baked Gadus Fish more, as it was cooked just right and the pumpkin puree mixed well with the fish. What I like most is after eating this dish, I feel guilt-free! Haha, I'm on diet by the way :P

Lamb is always my favourite, guys should choose this as this is comparatively more fulfilling than the fish. The lamb rack was served with coriander leaf sauce, it tasted not bad but I would prefer the lamb to be more juicy and I still prefer if it is served with peppermint sauce.

The 4th course is the desserts! Eastin Hotel offers Chocolate Mousse and Cheese Cake to satisfy both the chocolate addicts and cheesy lovers. The dark layer chocolate mousse gave a bitter sweet flavour and the crumble enhance the overall texture. Whereas the heart shape cheese cake is so special it is actually made with spice! Perhaps the intention of the chef is to spice up the relationship between the 2 lovers :)
