Laksa @ Lorong Kenari

Henry Tan | 6:33 PM | | | 6 Comments so far
I was on my way back after work.
Trust me, because i smelt the laksa..

"and I U-turn back to buy!"

Well it is a small stall infront of mini mart and tyre shop.
The auntie open the stall for a long long time!
And I didn't eat for like 5 years?

Here's the photo of it! =D

You can even see the fish! =D

Personally I prefer not too much of the veges...
And this stall suited me the best! =D

Taste: 8/10 (I simply like it!)
Price: 8/10 (Cheap! RM2.50 only!)
Environment: 7/10 (Roadside stall)
Service: 7/10 (Auntie selling, but speed quite ok.)

Internship @ AMD

Henry Tan | 12:24 PM | | 9 Comments so far
I have lost count on how many days Im in AMD.
Or I should say I didn't even go count. LOL.
Somehow time passes by really fast!
The first question people would ask...

"How's AMD?"

Well, honestly, I think not bad.
Everyday I also got works to do.
Monday to Friday, Friday to Monday, again and again.

But let me show you something interesting that I found in AMD.

Just a normal male toilet huh?

Take a closer look!

Yes! Urinal is talking! LOL

It is irritating that the floor below the urinal is always wet.
Wet still okay, but what if it stinks? =S
I will have to step onto it? =S
Then I will start thinking......

"They are not good at aiming?
or...
They have a lousy gun? LOL"

Allow me to illustrate in pictures. LOL

Sorry for my lousy drawing.
And thanks to the urinal photo from myspaceantics.com
And also wikihow.com on how to draw a stickman. LOL

So people...

"Be considerate kayyyy! =D"

Pasar Malam @ Bayan Baru

Henry Tan | 6:32 PM | Be the first to comment!
Sick for weeks, I wasn't able to eat much.
So finally I recovered, and the first thing to do....

"GO PASAR MALAM!"

Yes! I didn't go for a long long time!
Too bad I forgot to bring my camera,
so no photos of the pasar malam.
FYI, Bayan Baru pasar malam is on Thursday every week! =D
It is located at the Mayang Pasir.

But here's some food i ate:

Laksa!

Char Koay Kak! =DDD

Chicken backside! AWESOME YO!!! =DDDDDDD

Roasted chicken with peanut paste.

and also durian! I think dad spent RM55 for all these! =S

I used to go pasar malam every week!
Of course, there are pros and cons with pasar malam.

"Pros definitely would be the food!
All the cheap food! =DD"

But guess what's the cons?
Well, perhaps for me only,
pasar malam is a nightmare because....

"Bamboo cane! Rotan!"
Yes! I am talking about this cane!

Yup, I grew up in a family whereby I "eat rotan" almost everyday. =(
My parents believe in physical punishment.
So... yeah! pasar malam is the place that they buy rotan from!
Guess what.. they always buy "canes" and not just "cane".

"That explains why pasar malam can be nightmare too!"

So how about you?

"What kind of memory you have with pasar malam? =D"

Google Chrome

Henry Tan | 4:27 PM | 4 Comments so far
Recently I realized that my Mozilla Firefox is running very slow in my netbook.
Especially after I opened a few more tabs.
I went Google-d about the solution for my problem.
I tried all the methods, some are kinda troublesome.
Until I read a post from GuildingTech.com.

Guess what? The first solution given is....

"Why not use Chrome instead?"
I was like.... "Hmmm?"

Take a closed look at the last two line:
"If your netbook has 2GB of RAM,
Chrome should be easily be your primary browser!"

I was like "Hell yeah! This is it!"
The download and install process are kinda quick and easy.
But something caught my attention.
Check this out!
"The pop up message after I finished installing Chrome!"
Check out the line... "Close all Firefox windows!"

Okay maybe this is a little lame,
But I did feel like...

"Wow, Chrome can't wait to perform?
Can't wait to replace Firefox? LOL "

Okay, I might sound a little silly now.
Anyhow...

"I am satisfied with Chrome!"

No more lagging or unresponsive any more! Yay! =DDD

Sarang Chae Korean Restaurant @ New Bob Centre, Gottlieb Road

Henry Tan | 8:05 PM | | | 1 Comment so far
Went there for friend's birthday celebration.
I have to say that finding a car park there is HARD!
It is actually located at the opposite of PCGHS!
If you go at the wrong time,

"TRAFFIC JAM!"

Somehow at the end I parked my car quite far away and have to walk.
Anyway, check out the photos:

Group photo! =D
and fooodddddd...

that's how much we ateeeeee!

I could not give any rating on the food as I couldn't eat. =(
But for sure, the lady boss is very friendly, especially when you speak Korean well.
She also gave the birthday boy a bottle of Korean alcohol!

Each person costs around RM30.
Anyhow...

"I will be back there again to try! =D"

2nd Guppy and Betta Charity Competition @ Gurney Plaza

Henry Tan | 6:55 PM | | 5 Comments so far
Since I was a little boy, guppy is one of my favorite!
I used to go catch guppy at the longkang with friends.

"Im such a kampung boy huh?! =D"

I even kept them so long that they lay eggs and came out with tiny little fishies.
Too bad, damn those birdies ate them all.
(Blaming the birds, since they slowly gone without leaving the dead body behind!)

So fish is my thing!
Check out the photos! =D

See my reflection? =p

they got coloring contest too!

the judges for the guppy and betta competition!

Taiwan Guppy Club? =OOO

Next, my personal favourite!!!

Very nice rite??? so colorful! =D

Next...

"The two headed guppy!! WOW!"

 The top 3! =D

Next...

"Betta! a.k.a Fighting fish!!"

some very weird, some very special!

one thing for sure...

"Fighting mode is always ON!!!"

Guppy and Betta are very common pet fish in Malaysia.
Too bad the younger generation slowly eliminate the hobby of keeping fish.
Plus the pollution, I don't think the longkang i used to go still got guppy. =(
But one thing for sure...

"Catching fish is way better
than playing computer games!"

I must make sure next time my kids grow up like kampung boy too! =D
